Medical Pedicure vs. Traditional Pedicure

Ok – So, whats the difference ?

Medical Pedicure deals with problem feet. Despite its surgical-sounding name, is a noninvasive treatment that focuses on the aesthetics of the toenails and the soles of the feet.

Marina, Our Medical Pedicure Specialist has 25 years of experience successfully treating and removing ingrown toenails , getting rid of calluses, corns in between the toes, fungus, dry heals dry cuticles. 

Medical Pedicure treats the following problems:

Ingrown Toenails – caused by Improper cutting of toenails & cutting  toenails too short. This causes loss of nail protection.

Corns and Calluses – caused by every day walks due to friction corns and calluses are dead skin. Corns most commonly appear between toes and on top of toes. Calluses naturally appear to protect the heel, however if the dead skin is too thin or thick, it causes pain and needs to be addressed

Dry Cracked Heels – caused by damage of the skin due to dryness or thickening of skin. Adding daily walks and pressure to your feet causes skin to crack and creates discomfort.

Dry Cuticles

Fungus – most common fungal infection is athletes foot, caused by lack of proper foot care, climate changes and walking barefoot in public. Symptoms are burning, itching and redness
